Issue #2 is done being lettered and in the process of getting polished! I’m excited to be launching the second issue of the Hells Aquarium series starring Otis!
I’ll be keeping the remaining pages under wraps, but if you would like to hear more about issue 2 from Otis himself…check him out on the Killer Karen show! Where he talks about how his dad was murdered by a fish and drunkenly rambles!
Issue #3 is currently in production, so that’s exciting!
31 Days of Halloween!
Every year during the spooky season I do 31 days of Halloween, I tend to cheat a little with watching reality tv shows to horror anime episodes, as long as it’s spooky, it counts in my book! My wife loves to watch reality tv competitions so some of them are things like “Halloween Wars” and “Outrageous Pumpkins” and as two people who appreciate the arts, it’s pretty cool what people can do with food.

Beer?
YES! Atomic Pumpkin from New Belgium Brewery in Asheville, North Carolina! If you’re not familiar with New Belgium, they are the ones that make Fat Tire, which is a lot of peoples first dive into craft beers. But this specifically is from the Voodoo Ranger series, I’m not much of an IPA guy so I tend to stay away from these, but as someone who loves pumpkin beers…I’m glad we snagged this one.
It has a nice strong cinnamon flavor with a spicy kick from the habanero chillis that’s noticeably refreshing, however I do feel like new drinkers might find it a little rough, it does tickle your throat and it’s not one you can just chug without feeling the burn. But you shouldn’t chug these types of beers anyway…sip and enjoy.
But I would absolutely be picking this one up again when it hits next year!
Next year we will be rolling out quiet a few things…I hope, this is a big step with RSB and we’ve got some experimenting to do. So stay tuned for the announcements!
Until next time!
